I am one of 15 Eco Warriors from around the world, working in Borneo RIGHT NOW, to save orangutans and STOP DEFORESTATION!

The entire trip is going to be filmed and made into a 3D action film, produced by Virgo Productions called, Project Borneo 3D: 100 Days in the Jungle.

It's going to be big.

DeforestACTION is such an exciting initiative and I urge you - GET INVOLVED, however you can. There is never a better time than right now.

This is our opportunity. Let's stand united as young people of the world not only demanding change, but making it.

Please join my network and if you're feeling super inspired (who wouldn't be), you can donate some dollars to this vital cause and buy your very own patch of rainforest in Borneo!

To all of you, all over the world, Peace!

Kodi.

DeforestAction: Project Borneo 3D contest allows 15 young leaders to spend 100 days in Borneo to be part of a 3D Action Movie - helping to save endangered rainforest and orangutans, create awareness about deforestation, and provide a sustainable livelihood for the local community. The project is led by acclaimed conservationist Dr. Willie Smits and Orangutan Outreach - you can learn more about the approach in Willie's TED Talk.

THANKYOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE!

How You Can Help!

You can help by joining my DeforestAction Network and by donating to support the project! As an applicant to the 3D Movie project, I have a special opportunity: I need to recruit 500 supporters and help raise $5,000 to earn an opportunity to visit Borneo and be part of the DeforestAction project in person! You can keep track of my progress below:

What is DeforestAction?

Youth across the planet have united to create DeforestAction - a global collaborative project to halt the destruction of rainforests, create a permanent home for orang-utans, and save the planet. From schools, homes and communities across the world, this project is one of the most important of our time, driven by youth for the future of the world.

The forests of the world are disappearing fast. If we don't do something soon, they will all be destroyed, taking away the habitat of orangutans and other wildlife. In Indonesia alone, a forest the size of 300 football fields is being cut down every hour - to make way for palm oil plantations.

I've helped raise $2,170 of my $5,000 goal!

Your money will support the reforestation and protection of a new area of degraded rainforest Willie Smits has secured from the Bupati of Sintang, West Kalimantan for DeforestAction. The funding will be used to secure and sustain the land in partnership with the local community for 99 years, the length of the land use agreement.
